PPP Feasibility Study for Solar Power Generation in the Gambia

The Gambia is one of the poorest countries in the world and experience high electricity costs, this project provided comprehensive technical and economic feasibility study for grid-connected solar PV supply of electricity to four rural grids, and comprehensive analysis and planning to implement this under a public-private partnership agreement. 

This project was sponsored by the United Nations Development Programme and performed in cooperation with national partner GAM Solar, and completed under the Energy & Environment Group of Grue + Hornstrup A/S, which is now GH Sustainability A/S.
