Pre-feasibility Study for 100% Renewable Electricity for Islands in Fiji

Addressing electricity supply on Ovalau and Taveuni islands in Fiji, this project provided a pre-feasibility study for a 100% shift from fossil fuel to renewable energy generation by 2035. Including renewable energy electricity demand and generation needs, and financial and options analysis to determine the most cost effective RE technologies.

This project was sponsored by the Global Green Growth Institute and performed in cooperation with the regional partner Clay Energy, and completed under the Energy & Environment Group of Grue + Hornstrup A/S, which is now GH Sustainability A/S.
