💚 AiaSound ApS is one of the most sustainable music festivals in Europe. At GH Sustainability helped measure, determine, and report the GHG emissions for the 2021 festival. 🎼
Based on comparative research we can see that AiaSound 2021 had one of the lowest per guest per day GHG footprints. Why is this:
Copenhagen has a lower #carbonfootprint in general,
🚲🚈 🚶with no parking it has great access from #publictransport / cycling / walking,
🕺💃 with no camping it reduces per guest waste from the start
🌯 #sustainablefood options from vendors were used by guests,
♻️ waste and resources use – incl. recycled & low carbon materials – was thought of from the start.
👍 We know that AiaSound management is also striving to improve upon this for the 2022 festival… so more great efforts are on the way.
