GH Sustainability provides innovative solutions worldwide by assisting private and public companies, financial institutions, development agencies, and governments with positive transformation and sustainable development.

 

GH Sustainability was created as an associated company of Grue & Hornstrup A/S in 2018, finalizing a series of corporate restructuring allowing for different services to operate through separate associated companies, and  is currently owned by two of the former partners of Grue & Hornstrup.

1998 - G&H starts renewable energy and environmental work

The history of GH Sustainability goes back to 1998 when Grue & Hornstrup, located in Holstebro, Denmark, started addressing renewable energy and environmental projects in Eastern European.

2015 - Activities have reached to 35 countries worldwide

These activities expanded, and by 2015 the Energy & Environment Group of Grue & Hornstrup provided solutions in climate change, renewable energy, and environmental technology in over 35 countries worldwide.

2018 - Activities restructured under GH Sustainability

Whereby in 2018 the worldwide activities of the Energy & Environment Group were placed under the new company GH Sustainability, which moved location to Copenhagen, Denmark.

2021 - New sustainability software is established under Enablesus ApS

In 2021 to 2023 the companies Enablesus ApS and ET Sustainability Hub ApS were established, as partially owned by GH Sustainability A/S, and they provided a Software as a Service (SaaS) aimed at creating transparency in sustainability between consumers and organisations, especially in the tourism and MSME industry.  These companies were closed down in 2024.

2022 - Exanding climate change partnerships across the globe

From 2022 GH Sustainability has expanded partnerships with companies and individual consultants to deliver climate change services in Africa, Pacific Islands, and South East Asia.
