It was a real pleasure last week to start work with the Government of the Republic of Fiji, in addressing related finance and support needs for reducing GHG emissions in the transport sector and through energy efficiency. GH Sustainability A/S started work with the Government of the Republic of Fiji, in cooperation with Sailing for Sustainability (Fiji), to prepare a Nationally Determined Contribution (NDC) Investment Plan and Project Pipeline, which will strengthen Fiji’s contribution to reducing GHG emissions and kick-start efforts to gain the support needed to achieve the needed change for energy efficiency and transport.
This is a Pacific NDC Hub activity which is itself implemented through a partnership between Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH , Global Green Growth Institute, Pacific Community-SPC, and SPREP with financial support from the Germany, United Kingdom, New Zealand and Australian Governments. This work is being delivered through Global Green Growth Institute.
